It’s always been Art for me from the very beginning. Portraits, Murals, Book illustrations and signage but for the last 17 years it’s been Monument Etching.
I studied at Pratt Institute favoring Industrial design and Art education. Since then I have been working as a freelance Artist under the name The Paintsudio based out of Coalton, West Virginia.

The appeal of working with stone is that it has such a permanency and is so timeless. The idea of leaving something behind that will last over many generations makes what I do feel historical in sense, as it does for Families when we sit down together and design a scene that depicts their loved ones life a they knew it to be.
